The Professional Regulation Commission Announced that 30 our of 60 examinees passed the PIIE Certification Exam. Thirty examinees passed this year’s Industrial Engineering Certification Examination for Certified Industrial Engineers (CIE) given by the Industrial Engineering Certification Board (IECB), the certification arm of the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE), last May 23.
In a statement, the PIIE announced a 50 percent passing rate for the exam.
Topping the test was Armando Radomes Jr. of University of San Carlos, who had a grade of 87 percent. At second is Francis Emmanuel Otadoy, also of University of San Carlos, with a score of 81.17 percent.
Adamson University’s Christopher Tupaz is at third with 79.71 percent, followed by Precie Daño of San Carlos University (fourth; 78.74 percent), Irish Dakay of University of San Carlos and Reinevic Ureta (tied at fifth; 77.77 percent).
The oath-taking ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. on Aug. 28 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Makati City.

Mali naman yung title…dapat yung title ay PIIE Certification exam. Dami namang hindi nagtake ng exam na to eh..kapag nagkaroon na sihuro ng PRC IE board exam, saka na lang ako mag eexam.

Oo nga naman full fledged… he he.. kidding aside if you have passed the certification it will be a plus factor for you being an IE. so i suggests you consider taking up the certification exam…

ok din ung suggestion ni 3cLipzZ n mgkroon ng board or khit certification exam muna ang culinary arts..msyado na rin kcng ngiging in demand ang kursong yan..mrami n rin ung bilang ng mga kaso about food poisoning dahil sa kakulangan sa kaalaman sa tamang methods and technique in cooking..culinary graduates should have their license from prc tlga before hiring them as a chefs especially in hotels…

thats useless…dami namn license engr. walang trabaho….minsan may license wala namang alam..but its good to hear bwt it,at last IE was recognized..ok lng kng certified,basta kasali na tau…hahaha.sa akin ok lng wala…heheheheh…kaya kau mga students and job seekers na IE…goodluck…godbless.

anu po bang pinagkaiba ng CIE sa PRC? i mean, if you take either exams and pass in any of it..are you considered as a licensed IE?? or if you didn’t pass the other..can you take the PRC and still be a licensed IE?? pwdeng mamili ang IEs between the CIE or PRC board exams?? please answer.. thank you and God bless.
