i don’t want to sound rude or anything but just a word of advice because this is a very common mistake:

you don’t say “Did he PASSED the exam?” Dapat “Did he PASS the exam?” lang. Ewan ko, dami satin mga Pinoy super past tense kung magtanong. :D

A call to teachers:Pa emphasize lang po sana nito. Reputasyon din naman ninyo as teachers ang naapektuhan.

    Salamat!

  19. Mike

anyway, props to this site. I wasn’t really checking here because all I thought you only covered board exam results. Buti na lang kasama BAR. I am hoping that my Dad will also pass the exam.

  20. kathy

yeah…please check your basic grammar before you submit your comment…:-)

  21. irene gutierrez

    Did he pass the exam???

  22. Franz

i think “redundant” should be the term instead of “super past tense”.
maybe in English it is also called “double past” but “super past tense, ahm, i doubt.hehe

tama po ba grammar ko? pasensya. 2rd yr college palang.hehe

My message to those who make “LAIT”,
Thank you sa lahat ng panlalait nyo dahil mas naging matatag at gumanda ang buhay at trabaho ko ngayon, mamatay kayo sa inggit dahil kahit bumagsak ako sa bar exam, malaki naman ang sahod ko dito sa ibang bansa at higit sa lahat sa legal department din ako dinala ng ating paginoon.

Whatever you have prayed for, believe that you have already received it, and it shall be yours. Victory is yours when the battle is the Lord’s!

  26. chona

i wanna ask if Vito Y. Esponilla Jr. passed the 2007 bar exam?

  27. Kristine Lorraine Guira

Yes, did denotes past tense and it is redundant already when using the word passed. It should be….Did he pass the exam?
As a future lawyer, you should observe correct usage of grammar. It’s only basic and its alarming some of you kept sending the wrong usage.Ooops, nobody’s perfect but it should not be an excuse especially if you are a lawyer???frm a second year highschool. Goodluck to my UNCLE…ERNESTO C. LOFRANCO, SR. WE LOVE YOU TITO!!!!

  28. Kristine Lorraine Guira

    CORRECTION: ERNESTO C. LOFRANCO,JR…..Sorry po!

  29. quelay

  30. kulit

This is so pathetic…Grammatical errors in PHILIPPINE BAR EXAM blog.. :(

  31. Jude

DO YOU UNDERSTOOD ME?!

  32. Jude

Anyway, ang cute talaga ng name na “Kristine” tas dnagdagan pa ng “Lorraine” kaya lalong cute, hehehehe. I think pretty rin in person ang may-ari ng name na yan…

  33. ANA LUDOVICA

  35. Jude

Ay oo nga pala, GOOD LUCK to all those who PAINSTAKINGLY and HONESTLY took the Bar! You’ll have your reward soon!

Dun naman sa mga cheaters, you know, ung mga umasa sa mga tips na halos pareho na talaga nung question sa bar tas to all those who resorted to the so-called “DARK BAR OPERATIONS” bahala kau sa buhay nio! Makapasa man kau, u won’t be happy in ur career, I ASSURE YOU THAT! THE END DOES JUSTIFY THE MEANS! Bhala na kau iapply yan sa ginawa nio! Bwahahahahaha!

Daming law students as well as law schools jan na d honest! Kaya tingnan nio nangyayari sa bansa natin! Daming lawyers na d naman deserving!

    Hayy, Philippines…my dear Philippines…

  36. MARIE BECK

Did GADOR, Jess Jeremy pass the Bar Exam?

  37. Jude

D lang pala sa bar exam may mga cheaters, lahat ng licensure examination sa Pilipinas may mga cheaters! Hoy, alam nio ba na “reaching ur goal in ALL HONESTY” ang totoong definition ng word na “SUCCESS” ha?!

  38. Joanna

i know my boyfriend will PASS the bar exam… :)

  39. atty. dacalos

know my boyfriend will PASS the bar exam… :)– mahirap magsalita ng patapos. only 10% got it. sigurado ka ba?

  40. atty. ken

    @Joanna, don’t be too confident.. unless you’re Bb. Pilipinas 2008 - World…

  41. Mike

@FRANZ - haha! if you want to be so technical bro, so be it… i was just trying to emphasize the point… i got my message through though so i am ok with what i said… cheers!

  42. janna

under construction ata ung web site ng supreme court eh…tsk tsk..

  43. irene

hay, ang tagal, masakit na ulo ko kahhintay sa result…

  44. moksha

I never knew someone could actually pass the 2007 bar exam results. Thought one can only pass the exam - and not the result… lmao!
…Unless, you printed the results and “passed” (handed) it to someone else. Like, I made copies of the 2007 bar exam results and I passed it to my friend… lol

  45. mastaplann_jj

kayo talaga mga pinoy ng away2x kahit sa mga comments lng… peace plzzzz… bone thugs n harmony…

  46. SAMANTHA

Well.. will you people stop making corrections in a harsh manner.
Bakit? may pagkakaiba ba if you’re a lawyer or not? Sa totoo lang, teachers/educators gain my respect more than lawyers do. As we all know, halos mga arrogante ang mga lawyers kasi eh. These are the least lovable professionals our country have.. . Sagad sa buto kng iikutin ulo ng mga clientele…pera pera lang ‘yan. WA KO SAY, HUH!

  47. Nursing student

ok lang sa akin if hindi ako makapasa sa Bar exam !!!!

  48. moksha

omg! Smile… I am not correcting or being arrogant. If you’ve read my post properly and understood it, you wouldn’t be making that comment. I was just looking for a laugh, for crying out loud…

    Cheer up, will you…
    lmao!

  49. Mikee

Hoy may result na! ba’t di pa na post, tingnan niyo sa website ng supreme court!

Please correct your grammar..it’s “Did he pass..” You made use of the word DID- which is past tense and then you again made use of the word PASSED-which you made it more redundant.

i’m wondering if anyone of you could offer me legal advice regarding a certain matter. it doesn’t have to be raised in court or something, all i need are the do(s) and don’t(s) and the necessary steps and precautions that i have to take along the way.

if anyone of you is willing, my email address is michelleabauza@yahoo.com.

if it also wouldn’t be that much of a burden, i kind of need it asap.

    thank you very much
